Skop Gat campaign launches around FIFA World Cup 2010 (2010-04-09)

Skop Gat campaign launched at Tuschinski Theatre in Amsterdam. The South African – Dutch campaign Skop Gat ('Kick Ass' in Afrikaans) offers young South African artists a stage during the FIFA World Cup 2010 in South Africa. During the campaign, in which numerous South African and Dutch artists participate, funds will be raised for the establishment of a Talent Factory in Capetown.

The official launch took place during the release of Blaxtar’s new CD Ozmo6:2, in the prominent Amsterdam cinema Tuschinski. Blaxtar is one of the participating Dutch artists who has been working with Music Mayday before. Together with Malawi based artist G.O.S.P.L.E. he recorded three tracks for the Virus Free Generation campaign in 2008.
